SPECIAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION REGULATIONS
ALPEADRIA CAORLE 2007




1. ORGANIZATION, PLACE, DATE

The Circolo Filatelico Numismatico Noale with FSFI aid organize the National (1st Class, Rank) Philatelic Exhibition ALPEADRIA CAORLE 2007 with international partecipation.
The exhibition will be held at the PALAEXPOMAR, Viale Aldo Moro, 30021 CAORLE (VENICE) from 1 to 3 June 2007.


2. REGULATIONS

The ALPEADRIA CAORLE 2007 will be governed by the following regulations:
The FIP General Regulations for the Evaluation of Competitive Exhibits (GREV)
The FIP Special Regulations for the Evaluation of Exhibits in each classes (SREVs)
The Provisional Regulations for the "Open Class" and the "One Frame Class" confirmed by FEPA and FIP Congresses
The Regulations for Philatelic Exhibitions in the Working Community Alpe-Adria Philately
The Special Regulations for the ALPEADRIA CAORLE 2007


3. PARTICIPATIONS

Participation is open to all collectors in possession of the following qualification:
be member of a Philatelic Associations (Societies) from Regions affiliated to Alpe-Adria
Philately;
be resident in one of the regions affiliated to Alpe-Adria Philately.

Each collector can participate in competitive classes with only one exhibit, eventually can participate with one more participation in the "Open Class" and in the "One Frame Class".
Exhibits are admitted which has been previously awarded between 75 and 84 points, with the exclusion of all the exhibits previously awarded three times between 80 and 84 points in the last five years in a national competition.
Exhibits which don't have 75 points must have qualification from the national Commissioner confirming their proper quality.
Each exhibit entered in competition must be the property of the exhibitor and will be stated in the exhibition catalogue under his/her name. The exhibitor may exhibit using a pseudonym (not allowed in the "Youth Class") but his/her name and identity must be compulsory communicate to the national commissioner and the Organizing Committee.


4. ENTRY FORMS

Exhibitors shall submit their Entry Forms, which must be accompanied by an introductory page, directly to their respective National Commissioners. Entry Forms must be received by the ALPEADRIA CAORLE 2007 General Commissioner no later than 31 January 2007.


5. ACCEPTANCE AND PARTECIPATION FEE

The entry forms will be examined and accepted by the Organization Committee with an incontrovertible and final decision.
Notification of acceptance of an exhibit shall be sent to the National Commissioners by 10 March 2007 at the latest. The participation fee in competitive classes shall be 10 EUR per frame. The entry fee for literature class shall be 10 EUR per title. Participation in Classes A and in Youth Class is free of charge.

B12 Philatelic Literature

All exhibits must be entered under the correct classification. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reassign incorrectly or ambiguously described entries.


7. FRAME ALLOCATION

The display dimensions of the frames in competitive classes B1 to B 10 measuring 100 x 100 cm. Each frame has a capacity of twelve (12) album sheets.
One Frame (B11) exhibits will be shown in frames which hold sixteen (16) sheets.
National Commissioner from every cooperative country disposes with 60 such frames, if a country will not use all allocated frames, those frames will be put on disposal to other exhibitors.
The exhibits in the Classes B1 to B 8 and B 10 could be compound by from a minimum of 4 frames to a maximum of 8 frames; in the Class B 9 from 2 to 5 frames.


8. EXHIBITS PRESENTATION

All exhibits must be mounted on white or light coloured sheets, placed in a proper and hardy transparent protective cover no larger than 24 cm and no higher then 30 cm. An A4 format is preferable. All sheets must be numbered continuously on reverse of each sheet.
The third dimension (thickness) of non-philatelic items in B10 Class exhibits must not exceed 5 mm.
Entries in B12 Class must be sent in duplicate (each title or volume). These entries will not be returned. All the exhibits will be accompanied by a text in any of Alpe-Adria Philately member's languages.


9. DELIVERY AND RETURN OF EXHIBITS

All the B12 Class exhibits must be received by the Organizing Committee no later than 30 March 2007.

All exhibits of other classes:
  • delivered by mail must reach the Organizing Committee no later than 10 May 2007; all these exhibits will be handed to the National Commissioners after closing of Exhibition;
  • delivered directly by each exhibitor must reach the Exhibition Place during 31 May 2007 and handed to the respective Natonal Commissioners;
  • delivered by National Commissioners must reach the Organizing Committee at the Exhibition Place during 31 May 2007 from 12.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. All exhibits will be delivered to the National Commissioners starting from 3 June, 2.00 p.m., after closing of exhibition.

10. INSURANCE AND SECURITY

The Organizing Committee will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the security and safety of all exhibits from the beginning till the end of the Exhibition, however decline every responsibility.
Therefore the participants are asked to stipulate suitable insurance contract.


11. AWARD OF PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded by the International Jury appointed in accordance with the Main Regulations:
    Diploma valid for gold medal                 85 to 100 points
    Diploma valid for big vermeil medal       80 to 84 points
    Diploma valid for vermeil medal            75 to 79 points
    Diploma valid for big silver medal          70 to 74 points
    Diploma valid for silver medal               65 to 69 points
    Diploma valid for silver bronze medal    60 to 64 points
    Diploma valid for bronze medal             50 to 59 points
    Diploma for cooperation for less or        49 points.
The Alpe-Adria Grand Prix AlpeAdria Caorle 2007, will be awarded to the exhibit showing the spirit, the work, the culture, the history and the traditions of the Alpe-Adria Regions in the best way.

The Jury can also award the following prizes:
    National Grand Prix for the best exhibit from Italy
    Special Prize for the best exhibit in Youth Class
    Special Prizes
Decisions of the Jury are final.


12. OBLIGATIONS AND RIGHTS OF EXHIBITORS

By signing the entry form, the exhibitor accepts the provisions of all regulations listed. Each exhibitor will be entitled to the one copy of the exhibition catalogue and the palmares.
