Dear friends,

As you already know, in April 2026, the philatelic exhibition Histria Phila Alpe Adria 2026 will be held in Croatia, in Poreč-Parenzo. Thank you for nominating a commissioner to represent your country, but we also need to nominate judges. Each participating country has the right (and obligation) to nominate one judge, so I would like to ask you to submit name, photo and contact details of your chosen one (of course, if you so decide, the commissioner can also act as a judge). I would like to ask you to attach a photo (passport format) and the commissioner of the countries that have not already done so.

Attached is the official application form, and I would ask the commissioners to start their work; inform the exhibitors and collect the exhibits that will be presented in the competitive part of the exhibition. We have plenty of time for that, and we expect applications by the end of November. Participation of exhibitors coming from outside Croatia should be done exclusively through the national commissioner who should deliver the exhibits, but also return them to the exhibitors. For all other possible exceptions, please contact me.

As the exhibition is in about 6 months, our contacts will be more intensive and informative. Please do not hesitate to ask anything that interests you. We, as hosts, will in any case do our best to make your stay in Poreč, as well as that of your guests, exhibitors who wish to attend in person, enjoyable.

Best regards

Julije Maras
(president of Croatian Federation of Philatelists)

Povabilo

Histria Phila ALpe Adria 2026

By the decision of the Board of Directors of the Croatian Federation of Philatelists, we announce the holding of the Histria Phila Alpe Adria 2026 philatelic exhibition. The exhibition will be held from 9th to 12th April 2026 In Poreč-Parenzo, a city on the Adriatic Sea on the west coast of Istria. The exhibition will be held in accordance with the usual rules of Alpe Adria exhibitions as before. Full confirmed IREX and the rest of the information will follow by the end of July. For now, we ask you (all members of the Alpe Adria Philately Group) to appoint persons who will perform the duties of commissioner and judge at the exhibition (of course, with all prescribed obligations and benefits). With the same criteria, Portuguese philatelists will also participate through their federation and we ask them to appoint a commissioner / judge. We also invite our hesitant friends from Ticino, Switzerland to appoint a commissioner and participate equally in the exhibition with all prescribed obligations and benefits. We hope that then, at the group meeting in Croatia, they will make their positive and correct final decision about AA membership. Please submit your decision to the General Commissioner of the Exhibition, Mr. Marino Banko, as soon as possible, but no later than August 31, 2025. We are at your service for any additional questions.
